Bluetooth Handsfree Kit

 

We have evaluated a number of Bluetooth handsfree kits, and one stood out above the rest. The CK3000 kit made by Parrot is a kit you install in your car to allow you to operate your phone wirelessly and handsfree while using the car's existing audio system. In some cases, we can even use the manufacturer's pre-existing wiring harness to simplify the install.

Description

 

The illustration below shows the basic idea behind operation:

The electronics box (inside the dotted line) is installed in the dash or trunk. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone which can remain in your pocket or bag. The phone can then be used within the cabin using an installed microphone and the car's speakers. In some cases we add another level of integration by allowing you to use your manufacturer's stock controls. See about availability of our steering wheel modules.
